Blanka Botz is a non-profit robotics club comprised of dedicated robotics and engineering enthusiasts. Our passion for robotics has led us to participate and succeed in various international competitions, including those held in Russia and China. As pioneers from India, we take pride in being the first Indian team to participate and emerge victorious in international robowar competitions.

Type:  Undercutter – Featherweight
Weight:  15 kg
Year of creation:  2018

“Sambhaji” was the eldest son of Shivaji & the founder of the Maratha Empire. A Tribute to a True Legend Sambhaji Bhosale (14 May 1657 – 11 March 1689). He was the second ruler of the Maratha kingdom. He was successor of the realm after his father's death, and ruled it for nine years.

The Robot is Inspired from many of the Undercutter Robots in Combat robotics. Sambhaji was created with the objective of facing the ramps of its category 15kg. The robot was designed to be "undercutter", that is, to have its bar close to the ground.

Its first carcass consisted of just one piece, "unibody", made of Aluminium 6061 T6, but the material was not resistant enough to support the robot's weapon, and it warped before its first competition. The robot was redesigned and its housing, still "unibody", was made UHMW Material.

For locomotion we use "planetary" reduction B-Box 15 with Brushless Drive Setup. Its bar is made in EN 31, and has different Bars as per the Opponent.
